Welcome to beautiful Ubud, Bali! Remember the posts I wrote last year about Bali? It has been a while and unfortunately due to lack of time I wasn’t able to tell you the entire story of our holiday to Bali yet. So more posts about our holiday will be online soon. In between some summer outfit pictures from there as well. We really liked Ubud but it wasn’t anything like Pai, Thailand, which we thought it would be. Pai is more serene, calm with less tourists. Ubud is a hippy village too, but so much more crowded. There were traffic jams everywhere which made it really difficult to cross the streets. But luckily our hotel was just outside the city center in between the rice paddies. Perfect location for an outfit shoot too, so here we are 🙂
These photos were taken in the garden of our hotel Omah Apik just outside Ubud in the little village of Pejeng. We payed around 33 euro’s a night for our stay which is really cheap. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a huge outdoor shower and the hotel has the most beautiful garden and swimmingpool. So serene and relaxed. We rented a motorbike to go into the city center of Ubud but we prefered our stay in the hotel much more. Don’t think we are used to crowded places anymore.
Outfit wise I’m wearing a dress which I found in a local thriftstore at home. It’s lightweight, flowy and the perfect length for evenings in Ubud because there are quite a lot of mosquitos. No jewelry today only flipflops (havaianas) and that’s it. Ready to have diner in a peaceful restaurant.
